Job Title: Video Editor- Part Time

Salary Range: P18k/Month(Negotiable)

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PHT, or Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day with flexibility around the timing. 

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create high-quality, engaging content across various formats. Responsibilities include editing raw footage, applying visual and audio effects, color grading, adding subtitles and on-screen text, and optimizing videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, follows creative briefs, and stays updated on editing trends and tools to deliver polished, on-brand videos with quick turnaround times. Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to client specifications.
• Assemble raw footage into engaging, polished videos while incorporating audio, visual effects, and graphics.
• Apply colour grading and correction techniques to maintain consistency across video projects.
• Design and implement lower thirds, subtitles, and on-screen text, ensuring accuracy and readability.
• Enhance storytelling through expert pacing, smooth transitions, and effective sequencing of clips.
• Utilize multi-layered audio editing, incorporating voiceovers, background music, sound effects, and ambient noise for a professional production finish.
• Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines to maintain consistency across projects.
• Edit a variety of video formats, including but not limited to corporate videos, advertisements, social media cutdowns, promotional videos, and wedding edits.
• Manage and organize digital assets efficiently, maintaining structured folders and backups.
• Optimise video exports for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, websites, etc.).
• Continuously research and implement the latest video editing techniques, trends, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
• Collaborate with the creative team, providing input on visual storytelling and video concepts.
• Maintain fast turnaround times while upholding quality and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in professional video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus).
• Experience working with stock footage libraries and online asset repositories.
• Experience in wedding video editing is a plus.
• Background in motion graphics and animation is a bonus.
• Understanding of AI-powered editing tools and emerging technologies in video production.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced media production or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of editing styles and projects.

• Experience in Multi-Camera Editing: Knowledge of how to cut between multiple camera angles smoothly.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and exporting for various platforms.
