Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and multi-task between multiple clients, ensuring consistent quality and attention to detail.
  • Design and create engaging graphics for various social media platforms and multiple retained service-based clients daily.
  • Ensure all designs align with branding guidelines and project requirements.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns, including content creation and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Convert designs into various formats, including t-shirts and other merchandise (rarely, non-essential).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Provide feedback and creative input during brainstorming sessions.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as part of a growing business.
  • Adapt to changes with a positive attitude and readiness to tackle new challenges.

 

Key Attributes Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional and proven experience as a senior graphic designer preferably in a social media context, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse social media projects.
  • Experience working with branding guidelines, executing design tests, and previous experience in a similar role within a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, able to immerse yourself in the brand identity of multiple client brands.
  • Ability to seamlessly transition focus from one client type to another.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
  • Must be proficient in Canva as the primary social design tool for ease of client sharing.
  • Experience with Google Ads and other social media advertising platforms is a plus.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate directly and assertively, offering suggestions and confidently saying no to unrealistic deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for social media trends and innovations, understanding what works well on each platform and how that translates to each brand.
  • A go-getter with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Must have a dependable PC and a high-speed internet connection at home
