Job Title: Senior Accounts Specialist

Salary Range: P25,000-35,000(Negotiable)

Working hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm PHT

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

 

Are you passionate about numbers and have experience in accounts administration? We’re seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Specialist to oversee financial transactions, including accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, and reporting. This role is key to both financial and office operations, ensuring seamless financial processes and administrative efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero and Procore (or be eager to learn), a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • A CPA license is an advantage but not required
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks.
  • Experience working with Xero and/or Procore (or willingness to upskill in Procore).
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in administrative support and office management tasks (Advantage but not required).

 

Technical Skills:

 

  • Proficiency in Xero for invoicing and accounting tasks.
  • Ability to manage all financials in Procore (training is available if needed).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, intermediate to advanced in Excel etc.).
  • Experience in financial reporting and cash flow management.
  • Monthly reports to CEO or Directors
    • Cashflow forecasting
    • P&L for each month
    • Budget updates
  • Ability to compile weekly timesheet reports and van tracking data.

 

Soft Skills & Competencies:

 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to liaise with external accountants and manage accounts-related communications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on improving efficiencies and reducing costs.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Handle debt management and collections.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and budget reviews.
  • Load and track project invoices in Procore and company invoices in Xero.
  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure proper back costing and update the daily/weekly reports in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice issues and general account inquiries.
  • Support the Office Manager with general administrative tasks.
  • Compile weekly timesheet reports and van tracking data.
  • Stay updated on Procore training and financial system developments.
  • Work towards improving financial processes and cost efficiencies.
  • Additional ad hoc tasks may be assigned as needed.
  • Budget management each month

 

Additional  Requirements:

  • A reliable fiber internet connection and backup internet are required for this role.
  • Personal work equipment compatible with multitasking is necessary for this role.(Can be provided if necessary)
  • A dedicated workspace.
