Job Title: Inventory Administrative Management
Salary Range: P35k-40k
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm PH time
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring accurate inventory management? We are seeking skilled accountants to join our team in the role of Inventory Administrator. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory movements and conducting stocktake administration. Your primary focus will be on efficiently managing inventory movements and maintaining the precision of inventory records. Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Retail Administration
- Management of the inventory administration email
- Adjusting stock in stores when requested by stores & the investigation of said adjustments
- Finding stock in system for customer orders
- Adjusting stock between various states as requested between Indent, Damaged & Display
- Assisting with any other inventory queries & escalating to relevant team members when required
- Assist the Group Accountant by completing the stock take preparation on a quarterly basis.
- Investigate & report to the group accountant with any ongoing stock issues caught from management of inventory email
- Run weekly reports to ensure inventory is being managed correctly within our systems
- Liaise with various parties such as stores & warehouses as necessary
- Assist with day-to-day retail administration tasks to make sure orders are being completed in a correct and timely manner
- Assist with the system processing of customer returns
- Assist with the recording of display products as inventory
Project Work
- Work with the CFO & Group Accountant to implement new processes
- Working with other team members on projects where applicable
Other
- Other work as required by the CFO & Group Accountant from time to time
Culture
Working with the Finance Team & Retail Teams to maintain a positive working environment
Ensure Adherence to Company Policies
Ensure all Stores, Warehouses & Administration Staff are adhering to Client’s Inventory Policies
Continuous Improvement
- With a real business improvement culture, it is the expectation that all staff actively work to evaluate current work practices to improve procedures and workflows
Health & Safety
- Actively support safe workplace procedures and policies with regard to health, safety and wellness within all Clients operations
- Ensure all workplace incidents are accurately recorded in a timely manner
Key Attributes:
- 2-5 years of stock administration experience
- 2-5 years of retail administration experience
- Relevant work experience in a finance or accounting department
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- High degree of computer literacy
- Understanding of furniture retail industry
- Working knowledge of Business Central & Other Inventory Management Systems
- Positive and enthusiastic, not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and staff across all levels of the business
- Proactive in the identification of opportunities and issues
- A logical and methodical approach with the ability to think laterally and use initiative
- Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines
