Job Title: Account Administrator

Salary Range: P20,000

Working hours: Monday to Friday; 6:00 am to 2:30 pm PH time and NZ holidays off

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization? We’re seeking an Accounts Administrator to support our senior accounts team by managing routine and administrative aspects of the accounts receivable process. In this role, you’ll help lighten the load for senior staff, enabling them to focus on strategic tasks. If you excel in managing financial administrative tasks independently and efficiently, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Support:

  • Assist in coding receipts as they come in using MYOB accounting software.
  • Send out customer statements once payments are updated.
  • Load direct debit files for uploading into the banking system.
  • Conduct reconciliations, particularly for payments received from large accounts like Mitre 10.

General Administrative Tasks:

  • Handle various administrative tasks as needed, including email management and other routine duties.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior accounts staff to ensure all processes are running smoothly.
  • Provide daily check-ins and updates to ensure alignment on tasks and responsibilities.

Process Management:

  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
  • Participate in regular check-ins via Microsoft Teams or other communication platforms to report progress and address any queries.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using accounting software (e.g., MYOB) and other business applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Education: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MYOB or similar accounting software, along with general computer literacy.
  • Equipment: The candidate should have access to their own computer, though all software and virtual desktop access will be provided by the company.
