Job Title: Admin Code Creator
Salary Range: P30k-35k (depending on skills & experience)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm PH time
Join our dynamic team as a key support to our import operations! This role focuses on assisting the import team with item code creation, ensuring seamless data integration into our Business Central system, and maintaining the integrity of the code system. Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Managing and keeping track of item codes created
- Creating and maintaining a standard for item code formats
- Updating and advising teams once codes are complete
- Ensuring that information pulls through to the website in the correct format and detail.
Coding
- Compiling item attributes, and categories and creating product codes for all ranges
- Uploading the codes into BC and activating pricing
- Coordinating with the Import Team and Commercial Team to identify the most efficient ways to bring code creation about.
- Modifying codes and processes regarding the creation
Assisting Item Maintenance
- Updating item attributes when required.
- Regular review of coding upkeep.
- Reviewing website presentation
- Assisting with onboarding new product
- Reconfiguring codes to show display stock in their Parent / Set form in Stores
Communication
- Participate in regular meetings within the import team and coordinate with all function teams to achieve company KPI.
- Establish and maintain communications with the commercial team and management where required to ensure timely workflow.
Process
- Follow all set processes within the company and BC
Continuous Improvement
- With a real business improvement culture, it is the expectation that all staff actively work to evaluate current work practices to improve procedures and workflows
Health & Safety
- Actively support safe workplace procedures and policies with regard to health, safety, and wellness within all Bigsave operations.
- Ensure all workplace incidents are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
Key Attributes Required
- Certificate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or IT-related field.
- Preferably with experience in similar roles or job functions.
- Proficient in creating item codes and SKUs (Stock Keeping Units).
- Experience working with ERP system software, such as SAP or Microsoft Business Central.
- 3+ years’ experience of working within an administration, IT office environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical & problem-solving ability with attention to detail
- High degree of computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn new systems.
- Understanding of the furniture retail industry
- Working knowledge of Great Plains or similar accounting software.
- A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft BC
- Positive and enthusiastic, not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and staff across all levels of the business
- Proactive in the identification of opportunities and issues
- A logical and methodical approach with the ability to think laterally and use initiative
- Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines
