Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager
Salary Range: P60k – P80k (Negotiable, max P100k-P120k)
Working Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday (NZ Holidays off)
We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and drive technical projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and play a vital role in project execution, quality control, and continuous process improvement. Working closely with a team of skilled professionals, you’ll plan, manage, and oversee the implementation of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with our company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, and commitments, and work with the project team (developers and quality assurance) to identify risks and develop strategies to minimize or prevent impact.
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives when necessary
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders to ensure alignment and expectations are managed
- Drive continuous improvement by continuously monitoring and evaluating project performance
- Assist Customers with technical and product-based support. Identify and communicate any difficulties customers have with the product to the Technical Support Team Lead to aid in product improvements
- Be available to take Support calls or handle Inbound calls
Key Attributes Required:
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a Project Manager in a software/technical company
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum and Kanban
- Highly flexible & adaptable with a willingness to complete a wide range of tasks and assignments.
- Excellent written and comprehension skills in English – NZ spelling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and a high level of accuracy with your work
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to multi-task and manage a range of tasks and projects with strict deadlines.
- Accountable and trustworthy with the ability to handle highly confidential information and hold it in strict confidence.
- Strongly self-motivated with a high level of commitment to the role.
- Courteous, positive, polite, accountable, and adaptable
- Experience in a customer service role would be a plus
- Prepared to commit to the role for the long term
